i looked at cosoraros thread about widescreen in MuOnline.
now my monitor only supports 1366x768 not 1680x1050
but i dont know the 'code'(yes I do) to replace 690h and 41Ah (look at bottom of thread)
so this guide is going to be about setting your resolution in Mu
from 1600x1200 to 1680x1050
1.Open up an Unpacked Main in OllyBD
2.Right click on the main module and Search for "all referenced text strings" now scroll up to the top and scroll down a little till you find "Resolution" and double click on it.
4. this should come up. see where it says 640 and 4B0, we are changing that.
5. double click on 640 and change it to '690h' [ the 'h' will dissapear but thats okay :) ] do the same to '4B0’ change it to 41Ah
6. now that the screen is at 1680x1050 the font will be unreadable to fix that scroll down till you find "updatewindow" in red writing. now just a little bit further should be this.
Change '500' to '690h'
right click..now copy all modifications to Executable and save your main.exe
START> RUN > 'regedit'
to this directory
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Webzen\Mu\Config"
and set Resolution and ResolutionA to 4.
and it works
EDIT: for 1366x768 use
556 and 300 instead of 690h and 41Ah
for that resultion theres a lot of airtifacts and sorta’squaring’ you’ll see at the login page ;)
