Ok I'm hexing gameserver for myself so i very ofter use a hex guides.
Usually i use this one with how to set up max level 1000 on 97 d also very often i see questions below it like this :

Can u make guide how to set up max level 800

Same questions are with setting max players on server .So i decided to make a guide ( this is for those who don't know what is hexing ) how to help ur self with hexing using a Windows Calculator from Accesories.

Step One :: Understanding what are hex

This is a part of guide how to make max level 1000 from Warrior19

Change this: 83 7D 08 01 7C 09 81 7D 08 5E 01to this: 83 7D 08 01 7C 09 81 7D 08 E8 03

Q :What are those bold signs ?

A: Numbers changed to hex value
5E 01 is equal to 350; but this is hex code not the value u will get in ur calculator
E8 03 is equal to 1000;

Step Two :: Changing values from calculator to codes :

• Now open ur windows calculator ( if u r seeing without options like hexes , radians and other u need to change a view ).

• If u r seeing this more dificult view it's mean you can get to work.

• Insert the number of max level/max players my example will be on hym let it be 555.

• So im inserting 555 number in calculator then i press hex ( it's on the left side of window )

• I get result equal 22B ( IMPORTANT : This is not hex code it's juz a value )

• Next i need to change it to hex code. To do this i need to change order.To understand how we do it you need to know that hex cell contains two signs (it could be 0-9 and A-F ).

• Now most important thing order : if my value is 22B my hex code will be 2B 02.

Why does it look like that ? Not like B2 20 or B2 02?

• A: As i said hex cell contains to signs.So first cell can't look like '2' it must be '02', in calculator the cells are '02' and '2B' to change it to hex code we just need to change order so our hex code cells will be '2B' '02'

hehe, it has it uses ^^..
But most ofl the hexing guides are old and out of date for most of the current gameservers ;)

i must agree and disagree ^^ it's not a hex guide how to hex somethin for some version this guides teach to understand the hex values so u might create own values on ur own

i agree in case that hexin soon will be usless ( to doing it by server owners ) becouse ppl released so many gs editors wich so many options that already i don't have to do anythin on my own.
