i have the same problem, but i've the answer
in php.ini (windows/system32 , for XP) at line ;extension=php_mssql.dll
del only the ";"

;extension=php_dbase.dll and ;extension=php_db.dll

after copy php/extensions/all dll files into windows/system32 , and after restart apache

then it's ok

i have the server files installed in my domain but when i try it it dont show anything in the registeration window or in top player still i get no error. and my sql username and password should be correct i am sure they are correct :(
