DDOS protection is now a lower problem.
The real problem is the massive DOS which can't be stopped.
Even tough your provider is doing a good job filtering the flood attack
he will preferre blocking your IP for a few hours until the attacker stops.
The reason for that is the that while you're being attacked ,your provider is loosing alot of bandwidth on your ass .

EDIT: And yeah this program is a waste of memory as someone said already before.

Very good program ta getting SYN FLOOD could get that reload the IPs.
I think they open many connections just loading the program

how can u stop 200k x 10k 0_o i think all this hardware, softwares are scam or protect u agains some "Школота" naabs

Zhypermu website can be crashed by a smartphone because their webserver is not well configured.

@on: Software protection for DDOS is impossible because all the traffic needs to be managed by CPU and each connection eat RAM. At high traffic attacks your server will run out of resources only because of the so called ddos protection because it needs to accept connection then close it if its suspicious. This software can only protect you from DOS(single machine attack). A hardware firewall will fail too at very high attacks but its still a lot better than a software. The only solution is good network engineers at datacenter that can mitigate or hardware block all possible attackers.

From what i've learnt, best bet to prevent DDOS, is to have a decent 4-lane network card with onboard cache (512mb+), and a load balancer with a external firewall;

Plus if all else fails, DDOS back. Its very easy to overload a DDOS'er. Or, you could report the IP's to their ISP's, and 9/10 times within a few hours all those ips are disconnected from thier isp's end or capped to a very low rate.

Specially in Britian, as DDOS is a crime and is punishable by 3 years inside, and an unlimited fine so ISP don't take any risks when they've been told about whats happening.

i want to know if a cisco router 2800 can help whit ddos and syn flood and what version if someane can tel me and know about this roters thx in advance

Guys just skip any kind of software who says it stop ddos attacks , ddos attacks kills IP , u can't protect that if you don't have an hardware router , u can't stop something witch kills your internet / IP
