Ban - Unban page using FragFrog's MU

This scripts help you to make a ban - unban page so you GM can ban people without usig remote acces !!

First of all i have to say that all the credits go to FragFrog because it's his work !! I only removed the other things on page and left the ban part !!

I know some people asked for something like this !! I searched the entire forum but didn't find this separatly!! I needed it because MuToolz doesn't have the option to ban charaters, only accounts (at least my version doesn't).

How to install :

You have to have MuToolz installed!!
-Go to C:\AppServ\www and make a new folder there for example : " ban "
-Extract the rar file to that folder
-Go to C:\AppServ\www\ban and modify " config.htpasswd " :
-Find the line that sais :$dbuser = "sa"; and change sa with your db username
-Find the line that sais :$dbpasswd = "your_MSSQL_password"; and change it to your password
-Now enter Internet Explorer and go to :http://your_mu_page.com/ban/index.php

That should do it !!

O.. and can someone tell me if i removed the security of the page too cause i dont want to get hacked !! :)

If you want to ban ip's ,you can do that with sygate firewall:

steps :

1. Open Sygate Firewall
2. On the menu tools -- > Advanced rules...
3. A window apears -- > press Add
4. Name it "ip ban" -- > under the name Action should " Block this traffic"
5. On the tab Hosts select "IP Address(es)" and put there the IP or range of IP's you want to block (ban)
6. Then press ok twice !!

That means that FragFrog's mu isn't secure !! and i think he said it is !! I have no problems with it !!

I made this for fragfrog's package a while ago, and it isnt using that file that shows passwords.

It also includes a place to set reasons about why the user was banned for further info on the action (good for server owners controlling the server). I made it for a user that needed it in help section, I never released it tho.

well i thought it would be something awesome (because it is release^^)..
but it is simple.. if anyone got idea how to add player ban for time u want, for 6hours, two days, or half a year etc and after this time auto unban. That is what would be great...

GM name: Any GM name
GM LOGIN: your account
GM Password: your account password
And U can ban caracters IF U ARE NOT GM
