    you must put it on your htdocs or where you have MUCore installed !
    and go to admincp and change template to default

    if i extract everything to "www/template" and change in admincp
    then i have a white page.

    What am i doing wrong ?

    i use mucore 1.0.0.8 and xamp ver. 1.7.7

    what index you mean ? just download it and replace in htdocs , after that select it from admincp

    I think there is an error the next empty index html, then it is impossible to load the index. php, this is what happens when you charge your templante:
