but that it will be a hole work...if for example, i run the server, on a pc, witch hase an IP, then when i have to move with my pc, to move my server, and i have a diferent ip,i have to remake that, to change the ip with the new one...and save..
Deathway, you say this is against craking,modding, right? well heres a thing...even if the main is maded like that..and is checking serial with that CehckSum.dat in the "/lang/kor"...and its preventing main modding or cracking...
If i have a main special maded that no one will can connect to my server, without that main, whats the point of doing that CheckSum.dat?
Even if they open the main.exe with a main editor...thei will need the special launcher for connecting to...like with the other ports etc..that no one knows and dosen't have how to find...
Even if they see the info of the main,dosen't help them :)...is just a normal main, but with a a diferent think..and if thei see what's different, copy to other main,and connect...and thei didn't do nothing :)), it have ben more easy using the already main that it haves in client...:)
Seriously i don't get your point, The purpose of this CheckSum.dat is to prevent that people connect with a different main.exe that you provided to the users, simple, be creative, you can put an antihack, then input the code into the main (so the dll will be in the exe, packers can do that), later pack the main and then generate the CheckSum.dat and send the protected main.exe to the users. So if they bypass the Antihack, they will be unable to connect since they change the code.
PD: About the IP put 127.0.0.1 , that field is used to bypass the CheckSum.dat
PD2: ITS NOT protteicting BMD files, as you can see is MAIN exe CheckSum generator, i think is clear enough, isn't it?
my point was that, thei can't connect anyway only with my main and launcher, so the checksum.dat isn't need...
i Highly doubt that someone have that kind of system, if you noticed you can connect to the gs even with the telnet, sometime ago people developed an Client eMU that can walk, loggin, kill, and it was a DOS window, the gs don't recognize which EXE is sending the packets, and until now i didn't see any system with your specs
i was talking of connecting in the server, in game..not on the gs, or something, to hack...i don't really know if you can connect or not to it how did you say...:-?? so if you say that, means that again, checksum.dat is useless,cas that is for preventing cracking,modding the main,etc..not protection for gs..
I have an idea of protecting cracking, moding of the client...i think...why dont we make the files from the client, IN the server?, and so thei will not what to modifie...thei will only download the main.exe and the launcher and the window mode :),but the others files, from Data, etc..to be in our server...and then, we will boder only from preventing conecting with other clients, by making then your checksum mode :)..checking serials, etc...and if isn't good...disconect...like the other online games, witch you only have some important files for you to can connect to the server, but the rest is on their server...and in our case, we will only give them, main.exe, launcher, and the window mode...and the other files, is in our server...like the files from Data..and some others...

so thei need main with the new name..even if is same ver...
.... most of client files are for Graphics, and if you edit the Local folder that won't change the setting in your server, for example changing the requirements for strngth for some item in your client, when you try to wear, you can't coz your server has the real requirement. But i guess you referring to player bmd, anyways tell me about a file that modded will alter in a important way the game, except player.bmd
i didn't say something about changing something, items etc...i was just saying, if we made somehow to use the files from the server, and thei just to have the connectors...not changing any values of items or etc..the files are in our server,ok?..thei only have main.exe launcher and the windows mode, thei connect to server..and the main.exe and launcher, takes the files needed, like the files from Data..from our server...and in that way..thei dosen't have what to modifie...we prevent from starting, the world7 replaced :) thei will not have with what to replace, so thei cant go in cages without teleport,right? cas the files are at us, not them...thei only have what is neccessary...main.exe and launcher...we will only boder for preventing modding,cracking or changed main.exe and launcher, not the hole client...

dosen't affect nothing...instade of the MuOnline, i changed with witch one i wanted..for the server, and for the client,in main, i changed the DarkSideOfMu to with something else, and i have put in main.exe...and works perfectly...no affects..:)
First, if you don't send the packet you won't connect (of course if you enable as i said in first post, and the packet is generated inside every main)
Second your idea is viable only if you got a high speed connection (you can use alse AutoUpdater)
Third. There is a procedure that disconnects you if you go to an non-walk area, but it need to be 2 or 3 squares aways from the walk-area
Fourth The cages HAVE and entrance, the of you see the fence is opened, i don't know why you want that only the MG go in
I have a good connection...and the thing with cages, is that, thei replace the world7, with one that thei can go without teleport...and thei don't get d/c...
We can make something like an autoupdate...everytime before thei can click on "game start" to connect to the server...the launcher makes something like an autoupdate...but actualy it's recive the files so thei can play, but thei don't recive nothing actualy.. :) thei only recive informations..so they can play...thei recive the information of the files from the server...or something..
