msbEditor version 1.0.0.5 - By MemmeR

    Hi.

I finally finished version 1 of my monstersetbase editor

    Features:
    Xml config
Using monster.txt to read name from
    Images of maps and monsters
Automatic program update (Checking version from http://msbeditor.dumpen.dk/versioninfo.html)
    Adding new monsters
Displaying all monsters with previous and next buttons
    And much more..

    Download it from here:
    http://msbeditor.dumpen.dk/msbEditor.rar

    Screenshot:

    Video:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEHrLPK_AYM

    Known bugs:
You have to press next and previous button twice before it disables
You have to have some monster in monstersetbase.txt otherwise it will give error

    .net framework 3.5 is required:
    Download it here

    Version 1 bug fix list:
    • Add dialog looked for config.xml in D:\msbEditor\config.xml it now looks for it in the program folder
    • Value for direction changed
    • Program now accepts that there are no comments (It adds comment it self)
    • When selecting a monster on add monster it sometimes has the wrong id
    • When choosing "Save As" and then opening add monster the application crashed with a error that config.xml couldn be found
    • Some maps was not shown correct (It took the map like "3 <space> .jpg)
    • You can open add monster twice or more by using the top menu
    • [New feature] New update function (try it)
    • When choosing "Save As" and saving it will give error
    • Update will be saved in the same folder as MonstersetBaseEditor.exe instet of C:\
    • Monster.txt has been replaced with a newer one (Thank you chris05)

    Version 2 to do list:
    • "Choose map"
    • "Options"
    • Automatic backups. Have it write to a temporary file while you're making changes, and doesn't save to the actual file until you go to File> Save
    • Automatic update of the main pr ogram after adding a monster
    • Delete spot button
    • Your suggestion here :P

    Version 2 done list:

    Credits:
    darcantix (interface)
    oskdemon (mob picture idea)
Crystal-X/Milamber for the map pictures :)
    Chris05 for the new monster.txt
All the great C# forums out there helping me

    Excellent release, well done! :D

I'll give this a go! I'm so used to editing the file by itself i'm not sure which I would prefer to do now :p

Yes. You can use your own monster.txt if you want, but the one in this is season 3 episode 2
