It's working here. Server did not crash. Tested with 1 player connected.

Hello mate, thanks for fixing this, It works great now!

But I have another problem now, sometimes GS stop working with this error "GameServer.exe has stopped working" , any clues?

yes you can, just run it in compatibility mode and your fine ( i think anyways, or at least that was the case for me ) .

Disconnect, I found another bug, I thought it was only me but when one player reported me I said to post it here:


In Stadium, if you talk to the guard the game crashes... same with Potion Girl in Atlans. Also it wouldn't close properly after exiting the game. (I have to use WindowsMode and Task Manager, stop process to main.exe)

I just checked, i have no problem.
I didn't change nothing regarding to these npc's, the only thing i changed is lorencia/davias guard, golden archer, and lorencia peddler(gm shop).

Yeah but this happened to me before to change something, and now happens too.

I think it's a OS problem because not anyone got this problem.
I have Vista Ultimate and I'm facing this problem, let me to get more info about this and post it here.

Yea it might be a OS problem, because this server is quite old.

Are you refering to the flickering screen crash problem? I have experienced it too in Windows 7. All I did was debugged main.exe and decrease the item limit of bow.

Yup the flick thing is from main, it don't affect gameplay in any way, only happends sometimes when you exit game and it's caused by increasing the limits.

It happened all the time if you use St anticheat. I don't know with other launcher

It happens all the time to me, when I click the Potion girl, or the Stadium guard, or when I exit the game with "Exit" button from the menu. (I have to use WM, minimize the game, then end the process of main.exe )

Any solutions, please?

Stadium guard and potion girl share the same itembag. Did you try clearing up the contents of the itembag? It might be some unsupported item (did you use the default itembags provided here).

Well if i could, i would have added more :), the problem is main/item.bmd is limited to 32 items for every type. So i can't add more than 3 sets.


You can put cs to restart in muserverstartup.

Changeing TerrainX to TX won't load more, you could load new map because i changed the allocation memory to 25 or 30.
You need to change the limit of maps/warps too, and that's not all you need more changes than that.

@golden
What pegasus did is was to increase the limit of gems (orbs) in main, i did that too, but it loads the size of gem, don't know if he changed this. Also he uses my main, so nothing to see in his files.

I had the problem with GS & CS too but my luck was that Disconnect fixed this, because I don't know how to work with Olly
