XP + SP2 + NET3.5 + MSC++2008 + SQL2000
Difference between OS is sql, mine is 2000, yours 2005. And of course, language (spanish).

I can't understand why is needed so many cares to make this exe works.
All before versions were full compatible with XP.

Can you try using Dr. Watson so that we can see what function is causing the problem? Go to command prompt then type this drwtsn32 -i then try to generate the error again then you can view the error in Event Viewer and look for DrWatson entry.

You got the same problem as other do brother.. Aside from your .wtf error you also got the GDI32 problem.

@Disconnect1: I think all this time the error of the GS was coming from GDI32 library. And I saw from other forum posted by lucianoaibar stating that GS log window uses GDI?

The exception generated was c0000005 at address 77C46040 GDI32!HT_Get8BPPMaskPalette)

Student Release of Windows XP Pro SP2 mounted on virtual pc 2007, not .net framework, not Visual C++ 2008; just XP + SQL2000 and GameServer.exe started.
I didn't test client & connections, just server on.
This means that the only problem is the language. GameServer.exe starts with english XP, not with the spanish one.
Is it a problem with no solution?

when i write /post GS crashes and all new items(atleast swords) have no skin on them.

There's no problem with starting GameServer, try commands such as /post /move /str...

But the .exe file doesn't work with spanish XP.

edit: i fixed that crash somehow(lol, seems to be mine fail) but still,where i could find swords skins?
