    [Release] Newly created Character with starting items [ SQL Query Script]

    Hello fellow Ragezoner'z

    As i browse the forum, i don't see any post of this SQL script so I decided to release the SQL Script for newly created characters with starting items

    NOTE:

    This is only tested in MSSQL 2000

    If you want to test this in to other SQL Server version
    USE IT IN YOUR OWN RISK (Make sure you backup your Database

    Requirements:

    MSSQL 2000
    Titan Editor (Not sure with Mu Editor)
    A brain :)

    Sample Code :

    Leather Set +13 + Luck + FO Serials + 2 sword of assasin

    It must be in chronological order or your characters item will be a walking KRIS :)

    If you dont want the new characters to have a specified item you need to add this

    How to make those item in inventory not in equipment

    This will work only for first created characters, on a new fresh DB, and the new characters will receive in inventory (not equipment) for eg: exe scale/plate set, 1 weapon,rings and pendant, with 3 opt and 3000 level up points if i remember correct, tested on Season3 Episode1, with mumaker 1.3, SQL2000. Here we go:
    First of all you must test.
    1. Use some editor , example CzF editor, or mumaker(recommanded), make a new character BK or dont matter
    2. Add the items that you want to have
    3. Save the character
    4. Go to Enterprise manager>MuOnline>Tables>Character>Inventory
    5. Copy the script from your character (this will upgrade all BK's with the same items)
    6. Insert the script in Query Analizer by changing this code down with your codes
    7. Do the same thing for other classes!

    It's old stuff, man. Your way is fixed. You should do this like a JOB of SQL to manage when you want to use.

    You dont need to make this job , why? because the SQL Script itself will do the 1 time Script. It is updating the DefaultClassType :)

    You just need to copy the serial of the item and paste it in notepad

    This is the chronological order of the characters equipment

    right hand, left hand , helm, armor, pants, gloves, boots, wings, pet, pendant, right ring, left ring
    Then use the SQL Script code


    UPDATE DefaultClassTypeSET Inventory = 0xSERIAL HEREWHERE Class = '16'

    I think you mean trigger on insert table "Character".

    Note that items inserted by this query will not have an unique serial and may cause problems.

    you mean only items're worn on class 1 (DW,DK,...), if they had been class 2 (Soul master, Blade Knight....), their items would have disappeared ???

    if you want item cannot use (only wear, can't equip,buy,sell,trade,drop...) please check your MuServer that it has this option.
    nobody can help you this.

    we have some trouble now =]]
    it's worked but when you restart your Server: include Dataserver and GameServer
    and it's not worked again :(

    should trigger, not query !
