the launcher is maded to check for file ucp.exe not main.exe ;)

Endi, i just had a look on the website and downloaded the UCP client from there, but i didn't see any way to install it for MuOnline. Do you have any news if a version will be released soon. I guess it would be much easier to enable us to make our own protected clients than to constantly bug you with "please make my client".

Also i'm interested in using it, but i also use the MuOnline autoupdater (original) and i need to know if i can still use that feature (since i deliver all the updates via updater). Also i suppose that a version that will support mu will decrease the requests for clients since if i need to make an update that will involve changes in main i'll have to recompile it and this will lead to another request for you.

I guess you can't read my post to the end also. I was asking for some information about other things that interest me (like if i can still use the original launcher because of the auto update function and so on).

you can use any other launcher for launching ucp.exe, but if laucnher dont support custom .exe name set, this launcher isnt suitable(because ucp.exe cant be renamed)

this is not that Endi what you are thinking about, this is other endi from russia

This is what i was needing an straight answer. Then i guess i'll have to start olly and search for a way to make Mu.exe (original webzen launcher) start the game from ucp.exe.

I actually did it easy. At first i think'd just like you "OMG i have to hex Mu.exe", but then the brain poped in and i did it :P:

Open a notepad and write:

@echo off
start ucp.exe
exit

Save it as main.bat and the google for a bat to exe creator, and convert it to main.exe. So there you have it your new "main". The launcher is made to launch main, but it's not made to check if it's a real main :thumbup:.

Anyway i'll attack my "main" if you don't want to do all the "hard" job :cool:
