cannot connect to login server

    cannot connect to login server

    installed sqleval,server,2.14g client
    followed the guide, amended the IP's to my WAN IP but can not login

    get msg permain tehebung login server, which i think means cannot connect to login server

    i have re-checked all the ini files and the ip address shows mine, the user and password are right, the odbc setupright and the server_list in enterprise manager has been amended to my IP too

    where have i gone wrong?

    Did you hex the client correctly?

    I suggest to use the Easy PangYa Boot for it.
    You can find it in LGKeiz's Guide (all the way down if i'm right...)
    That way you can be sure it's not the client that's having problems.
    Also try to use the run.exe for starting up your server (also in LGKeiz's guide i think) so you're sure you start up the server as it should :)

    I am using easyboot (best thng made recently) and I will try run.exe but I am already starting them all in order and each of the servers are logging and registering to the db but simply not logging in via WAN IP

    I will reconfigure them all to 127.0.0.1 and see if they log in that way, if they do then I will have to look at port forwardig etc...

    Also make sure you have typed "start" in every server window on startup.
    I've made that mistake a few times too :p

    Joka, how is your local network configured?
    I mean, are you running the server in your PC? Is the internet connection plugged directly to it? Do you have a router/firewall that might be messing with the ports?
