If I change version in server.ini

I'm test the VERSION="1.0" in server.ini is not link with the projectg.exe

on server.ini 

[SERVERINFO]
SERVERGUID=20201
SERVERNAME="Poring"
VERSION="1.0"
LOCALIP="127.0.0.1"

If I change VERSION="1.0"

to 

VERSION="2.0"

How I can change the version in the projectg.exe

Or It can't change the version ?
