    Starting match error

I get this error any time I try to start a match with any amount of players. I set one-man matches on and it doesn't seem to make any difference with one or more players.

Anyone else get this error at all and know the fix?

    Thanks,

    Re: Starting match error

Alright, problem solved. The client MUST be hexed to 2.14c in order for the matches to be created, regardless of what version you have. Or so it seems, since I hexed it back to 2.14c and things worked just fine. Maybe I should try a different client and see if that works too, but for the moment, 2.14c seemed to work fine for me.

Edit - Also forgot to mention, single matches still won't work, but I could play with a buddy just fine.

    Re: Starting match error

basically the registry entry for the version you have for the client is NOT the same as the server

Assuming you are running the same copy of the server and client as me .. goto REGEDIT and look up the following registry key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ntreev\Pangya

there you will see a key called "Ver"

edit this key and change its value to 2.14g and it will work

    Re: Starting match error

I've been doing experiment on this matter.
You only need to set the client version to be just the same in sqlserver, server file, and projectg.exe.

It doesnt matter to use 2.14a/c/b/f as long as they all same, it'll start

    Re: Starting match error

There are 2 reasons why you have that error.

Reason 1: you didn't read the guide.
Reason 2: You didn't add anything to your registry, so your pc doesn't even recognise your pangya version.
