:: Introduction ::

Hello, and thank you greatly for taking some time out of your busy day to read what I have to say and offer in terms of a team recruitment for a new, upcoming and hopefully long and prosperous survival multiplayer Minecraft server.


:: About ::

Alright, without wasting anymore of your valuable time; let me explain to you, why LeapMC?

A little about myself, I don't believe in half-done jobs. It's either done right, or not done at all. And for that reason, I strive, as a person, and as the administrator to provide players and staff the highest level of service and support I, as an individual can supply.

You can expect that this'll be something worth sticking around for.

Moving on, in regards to the server and software itself; we will be running off of Bukkit, situated on a dedicated server (beefy, but not ridiculous specifications; upgrades where necessary) and aim to provide players with a 24/7 premium, undisrupted service; except for upgrades and bug-fixes.

A domain name has been purchased; along with a separate web-server/hosting solution. The design, and coding of the main website is near completion, whilst the community forums running off of vBulletin 4.1.4 has been installed and fully set up with a number of plugins to further aesthetics and provide a more homey community feel.

To date, I have completed everything above by myself; whilst the project is still in its early stages I believe it is time to put together a team and take this project to the skies.

Moderators (both forum and in-game)
Builders
Graphic Artists

I don't believe in a full fledged application form that people should fill out.

Why should you be ranked up?

I am a respectful player, who has dealt with many hackers/griefers/spammers, usually trying to ruin the fun for other players. I often spectate on players, looking at each one that might be suspicious of griefing. Should someone show suspicious activity, I'll immediately spectate on them. If someone asks a question, I will answer it maturely. If someone needs help, I will teleport to them. I do however ask first before I teleport, but if it is urgent, then it is an exception. I also do not tolerate any staff abuse, such as staff teleporting to other players in order to kill them immediately, using hacks/mods to PvP.
How will you contribute to the server?

I will contribute to the server by keeping it safe during any staff's absence most of the time. I would build some pixel art for the spawn to improve the spawn's look. I would assist anybody with a plug-in/bug issue. I would help new players on the main basics of registering, etc. I would also try and make the server more popular. I will help the server in any way possible.

After reading your slight wall of text, i was invigorated to be a part of this, i would love to be help you make this Minecraft server big, popular, and the most important, fun.

My name is Will, better known as Maddy, i had Minecraft since alpha and all you could do was build, IMO, best game of last year, and this.
I would like to be a moderator for the server as well as the forum, and i'd also like to be a builder for you, i'm not great at creating things without an idea, so a small amount of inspiration and knowing what you'd like your world to look like would be enough to set me off.

To tell you a little more about me, i'm 20 years old, i live in south England, cornwall. I was born in the states.. California to be specific, i plan to be a professional web designer by 25, though i don't know a lot about it at the moment, i'd love to be about to help you, or even learn off you.

Getting back to basic's.. I'd love to be able to work for you, with any help you need, i'll be logging onto the server to check it out and see what you've already done.

Why do you want to moderate LeapMC?
I began playing Minecraft about three(3) months ago and ever since, I fell in love with the game. I basically got all the knowledge about the game. I've been playing in Minecraft servers for the past month and now, I think I'm ready to moderate one. It would be a pleasure to moderate a community and help others.
