If you remember playing on an old hard drive that RuneScape was played on, you need to load that hard drive up. Once you do, follow these instructions:
How to find the old cache(s)
1. Go to Start.
2. Click on My Computer
3. Click on to the "C:" Drive.
4. Click the "WINDOWS" folder.
5. You should see a folder that is either named ".jagex_cache_32" or ".file_store_32".
6. Archive it (.ZIP compression, .RAR, .7zip) and upload it.
Example of directory: C:/WINDOWS/.jagex_cache_32/.file_store_32/
The current cache request is: 317
It is optional for you to support an obfusticated 317 client, or if the cache you would provide would contain a code.dat in it. It would be great if you supplied it all.
Information between a "Client" and a "Cache"
A client consists of coding: ranges from arrays, statements, declarations. Its in there in order for the client to run properly. The one BIG main thing that the client needs to run off is a "CACHE".
A Cache is consisted of: Mapdata (To Load area's like Varrock, Fight Pits, Falador, Underground Area's), Music (The Songs that can be played, Also Midi Files to play like the Whip sound or burying bones sound), Images (Background, Sprites in-game [Inventory, Chat box, etc]), Models (To load Items like Abyssal Whip, Granite Maul, Fire Cape [Without these, there no point in playing a game with no items to mess with]), and Data Files.
There are a lot of cache's out there, believe me. Cache's have revision numbers that RuneScape calls them. If you are to find a cache, its most likely to be in a folder called "cache." To tell the revision number of the cache, you need to take a look at main_file_cache.dat's file size. Here's some info on current Cache Revisions:
377 Cache
Main_file_cache.dat size ~ 18.6MB through 20MB.
369 Cache
Main_file_cache.dat size ~ 14.8MB through 15.5MB.
343 Cache
Main_file_cache.dat size ~ 12.7MB through 12.9MB.
333 Cache
Main_file_cache.dat size ~ 10.9MB through 11.4MB.
True 317 Cache
Main_file_cache.dat size: In my recent studies should be ranged from 4.5MB to 10MB, as of course will be a lot less in size than a 333 cache!
What to look for in a true 317 Cache
- (Possibly) Before the quest Desert Treasure was released.
- Should be before new emotes were released (Jump for Joy, Raspberry, Spin, Shrug, Blow Kiss, Goblin Bow & Dance, Zombie Wall & Walk, Rabbit Hop)
- Also I studied that its POSSIBLE it was before the new Prayer's were added on to (Smite, Redemption, Retribution)
- It may be before Slayer was released, or before Farming was released.

- WAY BEFORE: Fight Pits, Obsidian Items, Fire Cape, RFD Gloves & Quest and also the correct whip emote.
Good luck on your adventure in finding it! It may be contained in any client or just a cache by itself! Thank YOU!
Any kind of reward will be given out, I will also supply credentials to the provider of any cached released and posted on this post or in my inbox.
