Web loaders
Some faggot posted a web loader on otaku. The .jar file that was embedded on the demo downloaded and placed a virus in the startup folders. Luckily I saw his game and picked it up pretty instantly.
Be aware of cancer like this happening here.

Re: Web loaders
Wow that'll probably be patched though afterall Java is supposed to be all 'anti-malwareish'

Re: Web loaders
It can't be patched. That is like saying Ardamax or Poison Ivy can be patched. It's malicious code, it's not as if Java are going to stop supporting sockets are they?

Re: Web loaders
;p but Java has limits though like it can't make too many memory calls and what not.

Re: Web loaders
Basically, they are using applets to infect our computer. By us running the applets, we give them computer access, and it's easy for a naitive compiled source to inject the virus... I see what you did there. I guess this means that you'd all better watch the clients you download

Re: Web loaders
Java can download anything to your computer.
If it downloads a RAT to your startup folders, java can't stop that
