5 Lightmapped custom Gunz maps

Hi there,

I haven't released anything in a while actually I stopped developing for Gunz exactly a year ago, but I have been involved with the Gunz section and private server scene for a long time. So I felt I had to do something with my maps, and maybe someone will use them or not. I am capable of making maps in 3DS Max, but I haven't made any substantial map in it that I found capable of releasing here.

All my maps have been tested in several private servers and have been optimized as much as possible to the users likings. Feel free to leave some comments, but don't say anything bad about bad light mapping or stupid technique's I used. Anyways let's get to the maps.

Nagrand Underground:
This map is medium to a large map that has 2 large tunnels leading towards a single small battlefield. These tunnels offer snipers and sprayers a good opportunity to kill fast.

Eventroom
This map has been a lot of work for me because I used it at my own server and released it on the server in the early development stages of the map and developed it along the way, it has been improved to users likings. A little warning though this map is an incredible maze that you don't understand immediately, and has more than 5 secret rooms with fake walls. Also,I have experienced a lot of different reviews about this map it's either you love it or hate it.

Mansion-Library
As you can read this map is based on the all be-famed Mansion map, this map contains 1 secret room and contains a somewhat different Gunz experience since the rooms are all big enough for small fights. I can't really tell you more about this map because you just have to experience it yourself.

Minecraft
This is a Minecraft map I made just for fun to test a couple of things and see what I could do, I had some fun on this map and hope you'll have too.

Town2
This was a start of remaking Town and try to get like a sort of roof system going to let people feel like "Assasins Creed" but I got too busy with other projects so I closed off some roads and made it so It's a very playable map and fun. The video is a little bit dark but in reality it's a bit lighter, I might decide to add a sky later but as I said this map was ment to be a whole remake of town. So if people prefer a sky, either do it yourself with xml edits or request it and I'll find some time to do so.

Thanks, this map I put a lot of time in playing with the lights and see as how far it's possible to get curved lightmap, and it succeeded :D

i dont really like the textures and a lot of times they arent scaled correctly/cut off and floors as walls etc

I disagree, I did spend a lot of time on the textures, trying to scale them as good as possible so that it doesn't look weird, and in my opinion I did succeed on that, it's just that the textures I used and how I used them are a little different to how Maiet did it, but hey? I don't work with Maiet.

Yeah I think you did on my old servers forum. I was on a good way in my opinion, but yeah it took so much time just trying to figure out how everything was positioned and such but maybe if I feel bored I could try. :D

for example the mansion textures, the bookcase is cut off on parts, and the level down has a floor as a wall, ive never seen a wall look like that.

You said a lot of times why didn't you just specify what map you were talking about, and I know about the mansion map, but those textures are hard to work with and I did it the best I could.

im just giving CnC. didn't you expect that when u posted it? they arent suppose to be taken personal, just things that can be improved.
also for the first map, the sides of the stairs, the bricks get cut off, maybe just scale them up so they can fit completely across
