Complete & Modded GunZ Database
Hi, I've seen many people having database errors simply because they are missing things because not all know about the DB Fix thread that was there a while ago. The only databases available are the default 07 and 08 ones out of which most of the people use the 07 one as a base and then execute the 08 script onto it.
I've made a database for all the members out here so that if anyone's starting a server, they should not have any problems.
Features of the Database:
- October 2008 Server compatible.
- July 2008 Server compatible.
- October 2007 Server compatible.
- June 2007 compatible and any other versions of Servers before it.
- B-2-O Website / NoLife MPOG web ready.
- MatchServer friendly. Meaning, no errors will show up in the server's log which make your server crash or unstable.
- Stored procedures added / fixed.
- Fixed Gamble items tables / procedures. (Just add them in & if you don't know to, find Rotana's tutorial).
- Exp lock table / stored procedure added. Just add it to the admin panel (Look for Demantor's thread).
- Quest item's fixed for the inventory and duration.
- ConnLog errors fixed (Main problems that people face)
- /clan close command fixed for the 08 files.
Please note that you don't have to apply the so called "B-2-O Web fixes" by MicroManiacs because this is a fresh database fully configured to work with the scripts released by maxteam without any errors. You need to secure the emblem uploader and add a check on existing names in the character name change script though. You don't have to touch the itemshop or ranking script fixes.
Also, country blocking scripts aren't added to this Database. You can look for Emisand's thread and do it yourself
This is basically a totally clean database which does not give any errors.
Note: If you're using any other website including X-Weaver's sites, it's up to you to configure the database accordingly. I will not provide support on that because I don't like those websites and hence never configured my DB with them.
Also, don't ask me why I mentioned the compatibility for different versions of server files because it's obvious that if it's configured for Oct 08, it should work for any previous versions. However, some people would still ask ._.
I've included 2 forms of the database.
- .bak File.
- .sql Script file.
»If you're using the .bak file, restore it normally.
»If you want to create it the scripted way, create a new Database -> Open the .sql file with notepad -> Copy all the contents -> Paste it in the "New Query" window of your new database and execute it.
Note: I don't know if this script works on MSSQL 2008. Use the .bak file if it doesn't.
Please post here if you have any problems with the Database (which you probably won't). And I repeat, I will NOT provide support regarding other website database configurations other than the b-2-o web and No life's MPOG web.
