3. leaving a pc on is like leaving a light on just turn off your display when not using it, not everyone can use a vps because it requires an online payment or credit card for most (that i've seen)

You dont get control over it but you do get it and you need hosting just tell them the dns and they will update them for you.

Eh, I'd rather buy my own.

What if they decide to close down one day, you'd have to go and get a new domain and everything.

It'd cause to much problems.

It's free though, so I guess they are going to gain traffic/members.
