Professional-Duel Map

As title says, I am releasing Professional-Duel map (Final version-means that I am not coming back to modyfing this map) And login map for it, both by me . I never released first version of it jut because it wasnt worth releasing (it was too simple and not detailed). As far as I noticed, people doesnt like maps that has big size, so I used low size .dds textures to minimalize map size as much as posible. Almoust all textures were taken from original gunz maps, but it looks realy nice. map is fun to play both in DM and in TDM modes.
I also made Login map version for this map. Hope you enjoy it.

Dont blame me if you ddidnt like this map. I alays try to do my best to make all my map fun to play. I have added much work into this map so please dont be rude (if you dont like it, I understand, but you dont need to post some rude comments. Its realy hard to make something that every1 would like it.

Information:

• Perfect lighting with no bugs (no black spots)
• Walking (feet) sounds added.
• Wall hacking in this map is pointless (you cant hit anybody from outside of map lol)
• 2 DM spawns (why 2? because only this way spawns works perfectly in duel mode, but spawns are added to very strategic places), 10 TDM spawns in both teams.
• Map size: 1,09 MB (1.152.524 bytes).

What a stupid question. Just decompile the mrs the textures are stored there.

The map looks pretty good. Can you maybe pm me your msn I've troubles with creating my own login map.

Well, the map itself does have a other level than the usual maps on rage/ on the internet.
But there are some things that could be changed.
For example a better Textur Alignment, some corners dont quite match the texutres.
The Login Camera Movement is somewhat stupid.
Because its starting facing a Wall ... its as spectacular as watching Paint dry.
I would place the start at the Middle Area/Part since its effect and not just a plain wall.
Lighting the Pillars in the middle at the sides a bit would add some more realism imo

Creators need CnC and not plain spaming "12151/10" or "best map ever" because it doesnt show what could be improoved so that
a creator actualy can do it better the next time.

Already happened to me ..
If you have the old map on another update, or even in the folder 'maps', will be giving the same error.
So you have to put the map in place of the old and replace the files ..

It happened to me with the 'SuperFlip'

All textures that I used there, you can find at maiet maiet maps. Just extract them and use these .dds textures.

Yeah I just noticed myself that I dismissed some textured walls and didnt fix texture to make it look not fake.
I agree with you about camera thing. I think it would look better if I had turned it 90 degrees to the right so at start you see not pain wall but you see whole map begining . Most of work at login making I added to character selection camera, because most login maps had complains that camera is too far and they cant see face. I also turned camera a bit to the right so when you chose character, it doesnt go straight to the camera.
About pillars, if you talk about dark ones, I used black color to it so lighting doesnt realy show anything on these pillars.
But if you mean the colorful pillars, then what exatly lighting? Should I have made it glow more or what?

HellSniper is right there. When I release maps, I learn my mistakes only from critisism (I mean smart critisism).
It gives some experience at making maps and at what ppl would like to see.

I have never used any encryptions on my test server. Map is only recompiled with my cmd mrs compiler (I think its 1 of oldest compilers ever made ll) and its clean.
