It would never take 5+ years.
Flash games - can be made in less then a hour.
CS Type Games - Can be made in less then four months
Sword & Gun Fighting types - less then four months

Look at halo2, It was released like two months AFTER the actual xbox was released.
Your able to chat, Your able to Compete with other users, Your Able to use different weapons.

From the start, make ur own TRUE private server, then just start to rip some things and put ur own copyright, and thats THE WAY FFS

Would it still be illegally selling items if you had a system like Ijjis? Where members buy points then trade them for items? Technically, you're not selling the items.

However its done, I'll never pay for items on a private server, one of the main reasons I play them is for free items.

Yes mtg, it would be illegal.
Basically, these "items" don't belong to you in the first place, you have no rights to sell or get profits from them.
