Would anyone be able to help me set this up? I havent touched gunz stuff in awhile I forgot how to even use them.. I wanna get this up and running for my family.

Edit: ive managed to start the server successfully I just cant seem to get past the launcher... I dont know how to get it to work. Just saying "Update server is not responding or is not running right now"

Gonna try it now, ill let you know if it works

EDIT: Seems to work great... but some gear is grey and choosing Survival gamemode crashes the client
Seems to crash sometimes too at the end of quests.

it works fine to me try to redownload the file maybe theres a missing file

Just tried with a fresh client.. items still grey

I can tell you're missing some files or not built the source properly as it's saying (CLASS) and the classes i made say Common/Rare/Exotic

That makes sense... I’m not too familiar with compiling stuff so I’m just using the client files that were included in the download :/

I think the best thing to do is rebuild the source and try it again, and post your Mlog..

or redownload the files and build it again before changing anything.

Well, then you should search the forum for tutorials and research first before you work on this source..

Whole client has to be encrypted the right way and the folders that are not necessary can be removed. ( if compiled)

joe I played evilgunz back in like 2013~ and I really thought it was the most promising and best server to play on, sad that you guys had some issues with it. Awesome release! Kind wishes.

It's really sad to see EvilGunz offline, was my favorite server after closing my own with record of 30 to 50 players. during 2009-2010's I switched to EvilGunz and others just having fun and stopped completely making server and did play gunz till 2011. and other games on the side.

I appreciate the release Joe9099 I'll be using these if i made the decision to make a gunz server again. I'll credit you if i ever do.
