Mini ELU Editor
Some people might find this useful.

Basically it allows you to edit the information in the ELU file much easier. Information such as "gz_" and "eq_" strings that you would otherwise have to open in a hex editor and search around for.

1. Run the program
2. Select a ELU file
3. Edit the strings needed.
4. Save.

If one of the editboxes is red it means that the length of the new string isn't valid. The length must match the original!

When I select an ELU a box appears with only the button 'save' on it. Do you know what happened or something else i'm supposed to do?

Nice, Very helpful. But you could of just added a 0 terminator on the end of the string so you could write less or more than the acctual length of the string.

It means the elu you selected didn't have any ASCII strings starting with "gz_" or "eq_".

From what I always knew your not supposed to change the length of the strings in the elu. Plus there is only so much room even with a 0 terminator at the end.

Every .elu has eq_ UNLESS you are playing with .elu files that have nothing to do with equipment items... like the ones that control screen effects or something. And then the gz_ things wouldnt show either because the textures there have diff names.


Thieving, do you still work on gunz and stuff now or on to new projects? I could see all this being bored, like you said in the other thread lol.

I'm currently working for GameFlare Servers(Gunz L2 MS etc). Small programs like this help me spend my time when I'm bored with other coding.
