    [TUT]Best way of checking your map..

    I've seen people say they dont know how to check the maps they made.. I'll explain it.. ALOT of people know it.. but, this is NOT for the people who KNOW it. It's simply for people who WANT to KNOW this..

    Other Things you need :
    DDS Converter 2; RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
    GunzEntropy v0.24 : GunZ Factor Forums
    Mrs Unpacker(better) :
    MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

    OK.. credits on all that : Legion and Pablo_Jre the DDS converter.. I don't know.. but I think I got it off this site..

    The rest is my idea.. so credits from here go to me.. =)

    1. Make a folder called anything you want.. make sure its at C:\[folder here]
    Ex : C:\Gunz2

    2. Inside that folder put the filelist xml generator and make a folder called Maps

    3. Inside make a folder with your maps name
    Ex : The adress should look like this C:\Gunz2\TestingMap
    If you need tiles and walls and stuff then go down to the next tut..

    4. inside that folder paste everything from the .rar of your map.. lets say when you make the map, BUILD, the .rar file thats there. Paste everything inside the folder with your map name. Located at : C:\Gunzmap\data\maps

    5. Go back to C:\Gunz2 and click on the filelist generator.

    That's how the xml should look inside.. things similar to this.

    Now leave this minimized..
    6. at C:\ make a folder called Mrs
    EX : C:\Mrs

    7. Here paste everything from Mrs Unpacker(better)
    -Install the harshtab finder

    8. Next go to ijji gunz folder and copy the system.mrs go back to C:\Mrs and paste.

    9. Click on the Decompile thingy and write system on top.

    10. go inside the system folder and open Filelist.

    11. go back to the other filelist you made of your map and copy EVERYTHING exept

    12. Go back to Ijji's Filelist and press CTRL+F write

    OK.. now unhighlight it hit space and paste your map.

    13. open channelrule
    Copy <MAP name="Mansion" />
    go down and paste it below it
    should look like this..

    After this just replace the map name of the 2nd one with your map's name

    <MAP name="Mapname" />
    do this to all the lists of maps there..

    14. Ok now.. save it and close. Press properties of channel rule then press the file hashes tab and copy the CRC-32 code thingy.

    15. go to filelist and press CTRL+F. Write channelrule.
    Here just replace the crc-32 code. then close and save.

    16. go back and open the Decompile thingy.. on the bottom of it.. write System. ONCE AGAIN, BOTTOM not top.

    17. when its done copy the system.mrs and paste it in the ijji gunz folder.

    18. In step 4 I said where to go.. go back there and look for something called "[yourmap].mrs" Location : C:\Gunzmap\data\maps

    19. FINALLY.. go the the Gunz Entropy

    20. put on your clothes and next to "Laugh Debug game!" search for your map..(BEST IF YOU PUT ON A SWORD SO YOU CAN MOVE)

    21. take a look at your map..

    First off..
    Do steps 6 and 7
    6. at C:\ make a folder called Mrs
    EX : C:\Mrs

    7. Here paste everything from Mrs Unpacker(better)
    -Install the harshtab finder

    Next minimize this folder and open another folder and go to the ijji gunz folder.

    Now go inside the Maps folder copy all the maps here and paste them in the mrs folder.

    Decompile all the maps.

    THIS WILL TAKE SO LONG.. open dds converter and search in the folders of the maps. Take the walls floors and skies/ceiling that you want from the maps make a folder called w/e you want at desktop. for every thing that you see and like that is a wall, floor or sky/ceiling paste it there.

    After you've gone through all the maps you will have ALOT of walls floors and skies/ceilings.. in the dds converter change them all from .dds to .tga

    Paste the ones change to .tga in C:\Gunzmap\data\textures

    and.. DONE..

    I know there are mistakes here.. but just tell me them.. Now I know how ppl feel when they write these tutorials.. If you dont understand then tell me where.. I'll help
