I'm not taking any sides, just here to point out a few things.

Wrong.
1) 1/2 ass working in-game admin console from scratch.
2) 1 successful new gamemode via ASM, and 1 almost-done new gamemode via C++.
3) In-game PM'ing system. (Yea, I used some functions, but still gotta write my own function(s).... :P:)

^ All these ideas? From here. Pre-made functions? Not necessarily.

Have, done a lot of project for Gunz. (even though more than 1/2 have failed..)

Thanks to Gunz, I would of never picked up programming, and I would of never gained as much knowledge of ASM and C++ as I do now if I didn't work/start on a Gunz private server.

The only limit to extending a Gunz private server is knowledge.
If people have good knowledge in C/C++/ASM/SQL/PHP/etc, then a lot of people could make a unique private server.
If people have great knowledge in those languages, then people could re-write Gunz.

Just my two cents I'm laying out their.
