[Guide] How to make a custom servernames.

Only with C4 Client. (System Patched)
Patched System Folder
Mirror 1: rapidshare
Mirror 2: keepmyfile

1º Download the l2encdec v2.72

2ºGo to "C:\" and create a folder called tmp and paste there l2endec files.
3ºAfter that,paste the servername-e.dat of ur lineage 2 c4 folder on Tmp folder

4ºNow go to start and press Eject and put cmd


5ºNow u must put cd c:\tmp and l2encdec -s servername.dat.


6ºGo to C:\tmp\dec-servername-e.dat and open edit the Bartz,Fort... for ur name server.


7ºNow go to start and press eject and put cmd... and u must put cd c:\tmp and l2encdec -h 413 dec-servername-e.dat


8ºComplete the servername custom :D now rename enc-dec-servername-e.dat for servername-e.dat and paste to the folder system ^^

I had the same problem. I found that if you place the patcher that comes with l2encdec into the systems folder and run it( take a bit to complete), You can then use the -s command in l2encdec.. edit the dec-servername-e.dat to serveranme-e.dat. The opened the servername-e.dat with L2ClientDat_en , decoded got the txt file. Edited that to what I wanted and recoded with L2ClientDat_en. Then I did the h- 413 in l2encdec for the servername-e.dat and changed the output file back to servername-e.dat. placed it into the systems folder and everything works fine. I think you MUST PATCH the system folder for an edited servername-e.dat to work with no errors.

Please make a copy(back-up) of the World Of War Craft/systems folder before you began. If anything fails.. you can place in back.
1) download l2encdec
2) download L2ClientDat_en
3) make a temp folder ( c:/temp)
4) place the patcher and l2encdec into the World Of Warcraft/systems folder
5) run patcher ( will take a bit to complete)
6) place l2encdec into c:/temp
7) place servername-e.dat from patched system folder into c:/temp
click- start-run and type in cmd press ok
8) type in cmd window cd c:\temp then type in l2encdec -s servername-e.dat it wil make dec-servername-e.dat.
9) copy dec-servername-e.dat to desktop. and then rename to servername-e.dat
10) place L2ClientDat_en onto desktop (if not already there)
11) run L2ClientDat_en select servername-e.dat and click Decode it will make a servername-e.txt
12) open servername-e.txt and edit Bartz to whatever you want. then save.
13) run L2ClientDat_en select servername-e.dat and then press Encode.
14 ) place the servername-e.dat from desktop to c:/temp
15) click start-run and type in cmd
16) in cmd window type in cd c:\temp
then type in l2encdec -h 413 servername-e.dat
rename the output file to servername-e.dat and place that into the patched system folder.
