hey, when your editing the data_installer.bat how do you fully install it? when i edit mine it opens in wordpad is that right? wb asap ty :)

Hi, I am following your tutorial and have almost completed part 1.Unfortunatley, when i run the game server and login server, they both terminate themselves.Ill attach a copy of the program so you can see what it is.All help is appreciated.

Pay attention when ur creating the MySQL server !
Ur log is saying that u hve created a password or login !
Try to remake ur MySQL server !

Ok, I went into the properties files for both the game server and the login server and found that:

Login=root
Password=root

So I changed "Password" to equal nothing at all in both files.

However,now I get two new messages.Could you verify that the loginserver and gameserver are working correctly?I have attached the read out from both servers.

By the way, I did edit my MySQL Prefernces, and I had no password, I even uninstalled MySQL and NaviCat a few times before I got it to work...

I realize I am a total n00b, and probably should not be doing this because I have no prior knowledge of Java.But hey, I like trying to get things to work and thats gotta count for something right?

u DONT need to insert any LOGIN or PASSWORD
Just leave both in BLANK
