Connect to Server 3.1 By Hamachi?

Is it possible to connect to the server by hamachi.
I think it's possible but provided the server's owner on his/her hamachi for us connect to it.
Cos my school blocked port to other server therefore the only way to connect to other's server is thru hamachi.

If it's possible, is there any servers that allows me to use hamachi to his/her server?

well i dont see why it wouldnt work on hamachi but ya... i know very little of how to run hamachi but its possible someone did it with the 1.7 server on some random site

I wanna play 3.1 server in school.
Cos i can alr setup a 1.7 server in school and play wif my friends.
3.1 server need too much RAM and therefore my laptop cant handle it.
Thus, last resort to play 3.1 in school is thru hamachi.
That's why I hope someone can use hamachi as their 2nd alternative connection for server 3.1 if it is possible.=D
