HOw to edit dds file?

for now i managed edit gmi files...
examples.. this interface are not beautiful

but i have a problem with editing dds files..
even im using photoshop.. is there any supported dds editor?

change gmi to tga , and edit use photoshop

gmi is a tga file not dds.

Change Gmi to Tga lol ..
Then open in Photoshop ..
If DDS, Just need Photoshop & DDS Plugin :)

1) rename gmi to tga
2) make changes on that tga file
3) rename back to gmi

but im looking for X - Y editor for cords ..

too hard to look at the statusbar in ms paint/photoshop?
