Changing the client version [BUG]

Hi ppl i was able to change the client version but i have a problem.
When i try to conn it shows me "The Version Does Not Match".
Let's me explain what i maded.
1-Go to the offset (in hex not decimal) 002C7B5C
2-See ur client version. http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/5002/hex2iy3.jpg
3-Push ctrl+f and go to 16 bit unsigned short and put ur client version. http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/9161/hexmp8.jpg
4-Down u will see the Hex Value of this so search it on the line and change for which u want.

Making all of this i wasnt able to conn to my server how i explain on the begin of this, it shows me "The Version Does Not Match". So i come here for someone explain to me how to make it works.Have to use a OllyDebug?

A friend asked me for change the client version for 2200 and i changed but have this bug of "The Version Does Not Match"

Because it has ASProtect to double check the client version.

when i change this bytes for which i want the version change i think it isnt a big code
