Client upgraded

I am using the beta version of Olly 2.0
From what I see in you screen shots, is that my KPTTans is different from yours, what I see is that you have added to KPTTrans the translated .rdata, this is the step that I missed,
How to add to KPTTrans your own stuff? Is it just a matter of using Lord-PE or CCF and dumping in the new translated data? or is there more to it than thata? Because I am an absolute novice compared to you, I need assurances that I am doing it right, I hate to make mistakes:rolleyes:

Well... "practice makes perfect", and "try before you buy" :lol: That's why I say save to a new exe file, unless you are feeling very brave.

Those particular lines, I added in my hex editor before I imported the section with CFF explorer... but you can add the lines in your KPTTrans in any blank-ish looking space (filled with 00s) using Olly... just save it out to the executable image as you would the lines of code.

The reason I used KPTTrans as a base, is that it already holds a lot of translated lines... so that just saves some work.

I always backup my data before attempting any changes...lessons learned many years ago:D:

It didnt take long to get scrambled brains, I took the level 70 quest and did an olly search against KPTTrans and got no match, so I decide to look at that section and it seem like they have changed the titles of the quests. I am not sure what course of action I need to take...I will have to give it some thought, maybe you have an answer or suggestion

I spent many hours examining the translated r_data file and came away with the impression that the data translated NPC speak from Korean to English, that being said, I am still in the dark as to where I would find the stats of the items which are displayed in Korean so I can translate them to English, I dont see them in the client r_data at all or did I miss something along the way to learning how to do this?

You did miss something along the way. The strings are in the list I posted on the first page. I searched that list for the string 방어력 based on the item details for my "Leather Gloves", it was the second occurrence. see:-

Thanks for taking the time to look for me. I am in the process of having my eyes worked on and my vidion isnt quite there yet, so I have to look a little more closely

@Bobsobol, do you have a PT private server? If so what is the url for it. I would like to try it out.

It's REALLY private. So private you can't log on to it unless you are MY side of my router. I never open my server(s) to the internet.

Aside from anything else, players would get bored with the amount of time my server is down... or up and down while I'm tinkering with it. XD
