Launcher Assistance

I'm working on a decent sized server, and we need a launcher asap, if anyone is willing to help me with this, PM me and I'll add you on a MSN account that I don't wish to post here.

Just the basics of putting a launcher together is needed, more detailed instruction would be wonderful.
