    Traduce files

I know this may sound a little dumb but, how can I translate some files for example the .spm files?

    Re: Traduce files

    traduce
    tra·duce (trə-dōōs', -dyōōs')
    tr.v. tra·duced, tra·duc·ing, tra·duc·es
To cause humiliation or disgrace to by making malicious and false statements.
I'm confused. I don't think this word means what you think it does?

Do you mean introduce, as in "to add new files"?

Something in BR translates into Traduce.

I forgot what they meant with it though.

    Re: Traduce files

Do you mean you want to translate the commands?

You can do that, but I'm not sure that it's a very good idea.

You can search for the command strings in the server, they all begin with * and you can search for the parameter verbs (High, Medium, Low, Window, Server etc).

Find them, replace them with words in your preferred language. If there is not enough room for the word you want, same thing as with game text, make a new section and adjust all pointers to strings in the new section.

It may be a lot of work, for a file that only you can see.

I considered doing it so people could swap out that section for their own language... the problem then is that files for one language server won't work on a server for another language.

Another idea I had, was to write a notepad like text editor that did some fancy Search and Replace work each time it loads or saves a file.

Could maybe try a Schintilla component and get some syntax highlighting.
