VitalizePT getting sued.

I understand that viPT server got high bills. But once i received bobbman pm saying about BR ip blocks, i adviced brazilian players. Am I wrong asking them to don´t donate, or should i keep quiet and watching them donating to help the server ( even if their special gift might be a block)?

And tehrebel, don´t call me hipocrite if you don´t know about what happened. I HELPED the server getting donations. I made a portuguese guide "how to donate using paypal", I asked players to help donating ( i knew the problem). I helped keeping forum organized, I helped players ingame, I ASKED FOR BRAZILIAN SPEAK ENGLISH INGAME! .

Good luck for viPT, i "lost" some time helping you, sad that i quit like that, but again, i made what i thought was right.

It doesn't make much sense, considering we were running three 100 MBit servers, purchased 3 new ones, and were covering web hosting and bandwidth charges...

There's not much left to 'scam'.
As I said before, we ended up $155 in DEBT.

Not sure, but I played VitPT with my friend who is a Brazillian and his friends, who are also Brazillians, and their ip's weren't blocked. So I'm pretty sure that if BR ips had been blocked, then one of them would not have been able to play up until server shutdown.

I don't know how many times I've said this...
We never banned Brazilian IPs and never had plans to.

Scam means to fraud, fake or trick someone. Like if you told someone to walk 10 meters they'd get $50. But when one actually walked 10 meters, that person would expect $50 from you, but you don't give it at all and you laugh at him.

It may go against you in a far~ way what those people are writing... but why do you even bother to answer this B***SH** ? honestly... most of the stuff written here expect for the "Shift" case is about getting the files and thats it. i cant deny i want them released ASAP but i have a real life like you and the other viPT admins have as well... so i dont care anymore... if they get released : Fine! yay for them... if not... doesnt change anything for me tho... We worked incredibly hard on ViPT.
I'm just disgusted to see some random Moderator ruining our reputation because he thinks we banned Brazilians. The fact is, he is slandering us. And I am shamed to notice that people are taking his word so easily and starting to flame us.

Everything i said happened: I said server would close 12 hours before it closed.
I said that brazilian weren´t welcome there ( UtopiA post about "taking some attitudes against brazilian" justifies this.... if not, bobbman PM does).

"Everything you said happened"? I dont think so. They never scammed anybody. Also, they posted one of your pm's telling them to ban BR ip if neccessary.

Shift is playing off the fact that our legal troubles happened simultaneously with him believing that Brazilians were going to be banned to make his points seem more valid.

An unfortunate coincidence that I am sad to say is in his favor.

I don't know how or why he claims to KNOW the server was going to shutdown...
We were notified of the legal problems 6 hours before shutdown.
As I said, he's just slandering. Lying to make us look bad... :(

Did u guys give free drops and stuff before the shut down?? because if that happened, I assume there will be a wipe, if it goes back up?
