Windows Vista / Admin Client Timeout Problem

Its strange, i get a "(ip address of server) Recv Timeout Message" in red in the admin (GM) client all the time when i use my windows vista laptop to connect. But i don't get these message on the same connection on a windows xp machine. This shows that something is wrong with the vista machine.

    Any solutions to this?

Yeah i just got some errors while using vista to and i didn't have these errors before they showed up when i updated vista...... I thought updates where suppose to fix bugs not make them :thumbdown. Are you sure you have exactly the same clients or is the client you use on XP a bit different then the vista client. Couse it looks like it's not connecting correctly.

yep same account and same files. i tried to right click properties > security > advanced > and placed "full control" on all users on my pc. it works fine now, no more timeout messages, but i get "Scoop Recv Route" / Reconnect Server (Main) pretty soon, even though i have on another pc - a normal regular char on without RC.
