my gf says the servers up.. websites been down awhile though.
ya i saw.. i change the ip a wile before and i forget abouth now the server is ok i edited the first post to :)

Yup, Server is up, server is down. You can still make new account, you can't change password. and that's it as far as I know to now.

If it's in C# I can understand them dumping it. Java, same thing. They don't make good realtime servers as opposed to other languages. But if it's in C/C++ like I have heard, have fun using it :P
C# comes from VB and java yes, but they are not the same. I didn't do java much but the other thing I saw them share was the import system and the namespace/class system. Other than that, java is java and C# is
C#. To top it, C# is slower than java :P
It's coded in ANSI C, sadly, most of the people here "wasted their time" learning about C# >.>
Anyway, I doubt they release it.

I say wasted their time because what servers are really making it? Only a few people I know who learned C# can actually code a decent server. Anyone else attempts to learn it and the server fails.
C# is still a very useful Windows language to have. Java knowledge is basically the same as C# but its multi platform and faster.

All the same crap, difference is a few caps differences and different collections. Java likes to name methods get and set for example .getMessage() and with C# you'd have .Message
Yeh C# is the Fastest after C++ .Net language as you need to be far more accurate than VB on a lot of things which slow VB down, but with VB you can pretty much do anything C# can with some shitty slow code.
Offtopic, Is the CO client written for compatibility of other OS or does it use Managed C++ and use .Net classes to ruin that compatibility.

The CO client is written in MFC actually. It's not .NET/managed unless they changed it in recent patches.
