1.5 needs more fixes.
It all depends on how good you are urself.
If your able to fix all the bugs in 1.5, then 1.5 is a better choice.
It's not about what you can it's about if you want to learn it and spend time on it and want to try to find things out by your self.
Every random person asking questions on ragezone doesn't want to learn.
They are just here for the released functions and have people to add them to their server so they can earn money with it.
1.5, is updated, newer, and has more security and optimizations that 07 hasn't.
I just hate some of the stuff they have in 1.5.
Like they always say to others, the better things are, the more likely to improve on security and features.
It's the way people are. Their opinions are theirs. It's up to you to choose which server/client files you want.

Nahh, bro, it's not about opinions at a certain point. The 1.5 source that is released over here is for the year 2011, 4 years of development.....
If 07 was that great, 1.5 wouldn't have existed.
a few things i dislike about 1.5 is the files it needs to be compiled its not exes lol
Its easy, there is a tutorial for it in the Tutorial section.
With the source you can create UNIQUE THINGS in your server which will get you more players.
People want to see GunZ with new unseen stuff nowadays
Windows 98 in my kitchen man. Think i have another computer with 98 stored out back to.
And not everyone prefers 1.5, a lot of people have complained about it. And again, not everyone moved to 08 when it was released, not everyones going to move to 1.5.
Good thing about 07 is better interface and slightly better gameplay
Good thing about 1.5 is better security (atleast I hope so)
So why don't we take both and put them together? (Dawson released GunZ 2007 source somewhere)
If you make the right edits and improvements to the 1.5 source, it will be as good and even better then the 2007.
The 2007 is much more stable than the 1.5 source.
Let's go into the database, a lot of people been arguing.. But 1.5 has much more features yo.

And I know for a fact that the 1.5 Matchserver has a built in anti-ddos.(or sorta thing)
