About switching 2007/2008 files

Hello,

So i always worked with 2007 files and server files, and i thought of switching to the 2008 files from phoenix. refering to this thread: This one

So i basically did everything accordingly to logic, i decompiled the system.mrs (2008) and the 2007 one and only swapped the zitem, worlditem and strings to the 2008 system.mrs. I also did this with the serverfiles i only added zitem,strings and the worlditem in the 2008 serverfiles and the shop.xml from the 2007 server files to the 2008 one.

In the client itself i overwrote the woman/man.mrs and the model/sfx.mrs.

I went ingame and everything seemed to work. Then i went to the shop and in the shop all items are shown as how they are stated in the shop.xml but just partly. Some parts show some dont, most of the swords/items/guns show up and from the Body equipment also just partly of the items showup.

So i was thinking is the woman/man.mrs builded diffrently than the 2007 files? or does the matchserver read the man/woman.xml diffrent then the 2007 matchserver?

i really dont know, please assist me with this problem.

If i remember right there was an elu update between 2007 and 2008. That can cause problems with some gear.
I can be wrong, its along i used the old stuff. Currently i'm working with the latest k-gunz client.

Is it correct you client doesn't show items which have an ItemID above 500.000?
Thats a known problem. But I don't know how to fix it. :S

No i got a new zitem that goes from 1 till arround 900 those are all my items
so the problem isn't that.

Err rotana you suggest i decompile the 2008 woman/man.mrs then add them all manually? i thought that could work, or is that a waste of time. is it that the elu's really wont work?

edit: ok i fixxed it, i dunno what i did to fix it i jsut re did everything and it worked so :P thanks for the help annyways guys
