you're using a white background in your hp bar, you need to have the background as transparent. this can be done in programs like gimp2, or photoshop when you create a new file just go to background mode: transparent. or if you want to get rid of a white background on a premade file in photoshop you have to erase the white with a transparent background behind it. once you are done re-import your file and you are good to go. :D

Did you save it with proper format, formats such as jpeg don't support transparency.

It's kinda hard to explain. But, it's easy to do. Google alpha channels for photoshop, you'll definitely find it.

save ass > dds > pop up opens before savind. > drop down 1 alpha 8 bit if i am right.
