Hating on MAIET Shitlist

You may see some of us old time developers cracking jokes about MAIET and their "poor coding" in the end, they managed to create a game engine from the ground up, and a game based around that engine. They've done it again with GunZ 2 and RaiderZ. You constantly harassing MAIET and saying "THEY R SHIT FUCK MAIET" is really just a disrespect to the developers which files you are using. I know I personally will be starting a Shitlist for the people who do such things, or generally are a large annoyance to the GunZ scene. Any future releases I make, will have an HWID system for your GunZ server side. Anyone on this shit list, or anyone who do not approve. Will not get their HWID accepted to the application of use.

Meaning if you wish to continue to use future nice releases, you should probably re-think your attitude and try and contribute in your own little ways. This is just getting ridiculous

Change your HWID to the ID of someone on the white-list and I'll notice two different IP's sharing the same whitelisted HWID. Remove both from all my releases, problem solved.

I completely agree, maiet made a nice game which we all love and develop towards its future better. Maiet has a small staff team and they created there own engine. Unless you were able do the same which I doubt you shouldn't be saying anything at all. 90% of the people who say fck maiet cant even code or under 14 years of age. :P Looking forward to this new HWID system. Are you gonna allow all and ban as you go on or allow people threw pm / msn ect?

I don't think everyone used to just "crack jokes" about MAIET's terrible coding. I don't understand why you're doing this, but why start now? What's making you defend MAIET? If it's about "disrespecting" developers, hasn't the Gunz development community been doing it ever since the files were leaked?

Totally agree with you. Dawson implying that we fuck maiet over yet he being the one releasing all their work.

And probably whoever says their work is shit is just repeating what a person he thinks is superior said. But yeah, you can't really expect to manage a whitelist/blacklist, would be really hard to do and would take lots of your time. I rather just leave them say whatever they want but know what's correct for myself. You, Dawson, know that whoever CAN code PROPERLY knows that MAIET did a fantastic job on their engine and their game. So, I really think the discussion is pointless, but it brings more ideas to the current developers.



If us developers can't respect MAIET's work, why are we developing their game?
