You could, with the source obviously, and using TeamSpeak SDK.
That would be awesome if someone would start code on it i would buy it once i got money haha that is a awesome feature in my eyes :9
xfire... has commands that you use to talk in game should work the same way
or like tell everyone to skype? lol
Yeh but he wants it in-game, like creating a voice chatroom using a command.
Skype?
That sucks also Skype slows down from some persons the computer also this is a great feature no need to add someone somewhere else just talk ingame that is way easier and better..:)
Skype causes lag for some people without graphics beast CPUs. I don't know if Sudden Attack had Voice Chat ingame but the source's released maybe you can check it out.
BG-Nero i just want to tell you that you are not able to code features like this if you don't have the source.
I know that i cant do that without the source i am just asking here if this is able to make that ingame..
To depend on another client to do your voice chatting for you isn't quite implementing it in the game; you're just simplifying things, not establishing them.
You can go for mumble, or compile libventrilo3 on mingw then use it with gunz. Slight problem with ventrilo is that you're gonna have to release any and all source code related to all source code affecting gunz (GPL rules), however, you can keep the sourcecode if you use mumble (BSD license).
Nice idea.. but this will be laggy.. game will lag, pings will go high, n may be client will crash due to heavy passage of bandwidth through packets. So little difficult to make it stable.
