    wink [Question]About the SnowTown?

    Hey guys, Its still mystery on my mind. How come the snow town have snow? I mean You can see it moving or falling down? I try to open the snowTown.mrs then I cant see the .elu files on it or .xml that support on the falling snow. Can Anyone enlighten me in that part? please..

    Its a hard coded effect, idiot ...
    Ever wondered why adding "Snow_" as prefix to any map caused snow to fall in them?
    This has been known even back at radiant made map times.

    No, or do you see any "snow_" prefixes at snow towns materials?
    This is not a material suffix, its a map name prefix.
    Also let me edit my previous post to some better english.

    Lol no need to call him an idiot just because he doesn't know how to add snow into a map.

    But as he said it's a prefix for the map name, IE name your map SnowName and it'll have snow.

    Meh, everyone is a bit grumpy every once in a while.
    While i didnt do testing on that and im to lazy to look into the source, the underscore should be necessery in order for gunz to load the effect.

    Pretty sure he called him an idiot because of OP's inability to speak English, which makes him hard to understand and unable to understand whatever we're saying to help him out, resulting into a lot of posts that are unnecessary.

    GunZ it's executable searches if the first 4 letters are 'snow', then it just adds 'snow particles' in a certain range in the map.
    Want snow in dungeon? rename the mrs and the map files inside to snow_dungeon

    NO, in the MAP NAME you rename it with snow_ at the front. Don't change the material names.

    ok i'll asume you know spanish yes?

    Spanish: A lo que ellos se refieren es a que le coloques el nombre al mapa como:
    Snow(lo cual significa nieve) antes de colocar el nombre del mapa, este seria un ejemplo; SnowMi-mapa y el gunz automáticamente colocará la nieve dentro de un cierto rango en el mapa es decir, colocada a la fuerza. Solo caerá en todo el mapa, es decir no detectará techos ni nada por el estilo.
