    question mlog in source code

    what is the risk of deleting all mlog from gunz source? What can harm?

    a friend of mine once told me that it is safer to delete mlog from the source to avoid exploit on the server, i would like to know more about your opinion

    Slap your friend on the head.
    The sole purpose of that function is simply to print to a text file.
    It has no interaction with the server / client and vice versa or harmful

    Its just a Tool, that's it.

    If I were you I would not do that, when you have a problem you will not know where it is or what it is.

    Hahahaha, "Delete mlog to avoid exploit" that's the stupidest thing I've ever read.

    As Ryuzu says, the only purpose is to print text in a text file and more than that it helps you see how the reads are on your server.Without that you could not know anything.

    You all aren't completely right.
    It's true that the Mlog is just a log text file.
    But at some crashes it shows also memory addresses, and other information.
    Memory addresses can be exploited for hacks.

    I wouldn't remove the Mlog myself but reduce the information it shows
