Check the weapon item of the npc in the zitem.xml the damage is probelly 0 or the weapon doesn't excist

It seems like to me you have a dysfunctional database, I would use jur13n's client and server as for some reason, this happened when I have a wrong server or client as well.

You can get the client from Phoenix, I mean his files for XML, if that what are you looking for :/

I know this problem. Did you changed someing in your system.mrs -> npc.xml..? if yes try an BackUp and look if it works.
