More I'd like to know what is this
    RessurectioN: New map 0.02
An heightmap editor? Does it output right heighmap (means not that the heightmap is a gradual incline of black to white for elevation, but stacked as in kal?) And do you have heightmap -> kcm converter?

Thats a lil demonstration of that cute stuff...
    Huhu, Fort imported...

And do you have heightmap -> kcm converter?
Of course he have... Only RessurectioN & 007luk's Team got that app. Guess, who wrote that stuff...

atm. 007luk1's team have totally new world made. On his personal blog, you can find some screenies of new maps.

Now im preparing a lil proove, how my kcm tools works. Screenies of edited kcm's soon (ofc with new textures :] ).

KCM contains more data than just heightmap data.

Wee! So here you have (x-times)+1.

This is a simple tool to swaping RAW's in kcm -,-
Maybe nothing special, but as far i remember, noone made rly usefull stuff like this... -.-

I fail to see your point? It looks very little different from what puppi and I made.
And I would say, my application did render the terrain nicer than yours ;-) But that's a personal prefference.
However, I prefer prefer doing in-dept work with the DirectX api, something C# allows alot more than Delphi :p

And I'm to busy with studying computer-science at the moment. My year of doing-nothing-at-all is over ;-)

...something C# allows alot more than Delphi :p
    I dont think so :P

    Anyway, thats a .NET...
My apps dont needs a .NET Framework, or other packages.
Im compiling my stuff with runtimes, & i have sure, my apps will working everywhere. Thats very important for me. Potencial users of your's software, have to download .net framework to run your soft, anyway using C# / .NET doent means that its better or not.

Everything depends on programmer's imagination. Thats not a '70 years - when almost all 8-bit platforms based on BASIC, C was very limited, noone knows what is pascal oO. Now, we live in century, where programmers languages giving us so many capacities.

Other important thing isnt, with what language its made, but, how it looks, how many features it have, & what about capacities of that software.

    ...but thats a personally prefference...

WEE! We made here lil off-topic xD
Thats a nice topic to discuss, but somewhere else & with a can of beer xD

    Re: Temporary Fort

New computers have .NET framework installed. Plus, I wouldn't like having stupid users using any programs I make. (Except when it's intended for stupid people)

I would assume they require DirectX, or another library of 3D rendering software.
That you choose to bundle one can be your own choice, but I find using DirectX the best challenge, also because all players will have it installed.

Now, we live in century, where programmers languages giving us so many capacities.
But you still use a language from the 70's :p Pascal

Yes it is! That's the only reason you pick a language over another, perhaps except that of how neat it's designed (C# and Java is very alike, but C# is neat, Java is ugly)

    :p
