    CpuSocket launcher

    hey, im not sure but its gettin freaky if u set all the time ur engine to diff. cpu's. so solve laggs...

    well, nothing special but maybe usefull for some people.

    my cpusocket launcher ;

    just put it in same folder with the engine and start ur client with it. it does set ur cpu auto. to 1 and not to 'use all cpu's'.

    (does work only on newst engine! made it for BangoKalonline ! )

    Sorry TranX, i just thought that the "/affinity 1" parameter provided by Windows itself could be an alternativ and an easy solution, even for the old engine (just add it to starter bat for example)
    I do not see where it have something todo with coolness or madshit.

    I guess for old Client it would be
    Code:
     @echo off
    start /affinity 1 engine.exe /load /config debug
    exit /b
    echo on
    for the new engine, the other line is simply enough (with NWK Repack)

    Re: CpuSocket launcher

    Believe it or not, but the engine starts running slow if the fps gets too high. (i dont know where the limit is)
    But you can easily solve this problem by using kealy's fps limiter.

    If you wanna try it out, make sure you have a modern "high end" pc and go to an area with less objects and terrain, such as the pink house.
    we want the fps to peak, so turn down all graphics to low.

    then walk around, and do random stuff, if your fps is high enough then all animations will start going in slowmotion etc.

    The client uses multiple threads... It supports multithreading, like every mmorpg with a 3d engine. Best is to use a fps limiter /affinity 1 or this socket launcher won't do much noticeable.
