i dont use GTX files.. ther are PNG...
you can convert them to GTX if you want just make it first DDS then convert to GTX :w00t:

here is my quick made blender model of the bow , will post the stick later :d

it isn't much cause the example you gave wasn't rly clear , so couldn't work on the details.

(requires texture + export + maybe some scale/rotate )
