yep and for official BoF we would need the new client at very least(if the server only sends the info # we won't need server) but i at least now have Effects showing when my BoF is equiped (actually a simple hack >.< not official BoF) and i don't need to make new armors(makes it easier to implement but i don't NEED to)Originally Posted by TrueDarKZONE

^.^ i come here mostly to post releases and answer noobs questions :P that is when im not buisy trying to pawn off the "look for this effect" work on them :s but they will have none of that so i guess ill have to find BoFs effect filename on my own :(
if you are so sure that u got it working then release it without effects... let ppl be creative and think by themselves.

There are leechers in every learning enviroment, it's unfortunately unavoidable. Also that's the first time that MentaL has asked for donations since I joined the forum (2003) and people ask questions because they want to get better, without people asking questions the entire section would just be filled with people who didn't know anything, yeah they could search or read stickies but when I first joined this place was extremely confusing to navigate so I wouldn't want someone breathing down my neck constantly because I didn't search hard enough
Also there's absolutely no need for the vulgar language.

if player1 gets bof, he relogs and sees the effects. does player2 also have to relog to see player1 blingbling? o,o

that's not the real bof.. it's ice effect of g21 bird skill if i am correct.
right for this to acctually work u need the proper files for this if u dont it wont last long and just fuck ur game up

I think he hasnt full working bof he just added effect on character
Mabey he is able to add the effect over database ... like bound items ... you can make it over db but not over any npc or item... >> just an idea <<
no, imo it's just a bof "talisman of protection" which means after success of another top, it would dissappear, still he couldnt have both top and bof with effect on armor.
lol people are still posting here? >.< i got bored of trying to get the effect right for BoF and gave up(on kal PS in general spent my time lvling a mage to 53 and my IC to 63 on Hanin lol)
i did the Effect and such with the DB i forget the # now but oh well :P
ronjambo you should pm me and tell me how you did it(and the file the BoF effect is in) maybe i can help you make it better
